TOKYO (Reuters) - Prosecutors arrested Takafumi Horie, CEO of Japanese Internet firm Livedoor Co. (4753.T), on Monday on suspicion of violating securities laws.
They also arrested three other executives of the firm, which shook up corporate Japan with its aggressive acquisitions strategy.
A prosecutors' raid on Livedoor a week ago caused chaos on the Tokyo stock market and sent prices plunging across the board.
Media reports have said Livedoor spread false information to investors, issued new shares to ``acquire'' firms already under its control and then sold them for a profit and padded its books.

私たちが考えている以上に、外国人投資家の買いは、ものすごいパワー、勢力なのだ。
単なる1企業の事件として、認識してくれればラッキー。
日本市場の抱える問題として認識されたら．．．売りが殺到するだろう。
ここはいったん手仕舞いして、動向を見守るのが正解だろう。
